VMG Laptop Start Guide
This will guide you through setting up your brand new VMG Health Laptop. Your work apps will also be installed during this process.
Before you begin, please ensure you have met the minimum requirements to start the process:
- You have a working internet connection.
- You have signed into your VMG 365 Account at least once and set up your Microsoft Authenticator App.

If you have not set up your VMG 365 Account, please go to www.office.com from a web browser and sign in using your VMG 365 Credentials. Then Change your password and setup the Microsoft Authenticator App.

If you need to reset your password, please go to https://support.vmghealth.com from a web browser and select the option: “Reset a Password”.
Let’s Begin!
- Power On your new Laptop.
Note: The Power button is located above the keyboard near the right side of the screen.
- Wait for the Laptop to fully power up. It will ask you to confirm your region, keyboard layout, and connect to the internet.
- After you connect to the Internet, you will see a screen that says, Welcome to VMG Health!
- Enter your VMG Health Email Address and select Next.
Ex: First.Lastname@vmghealth.com.
- Enter your VMG 365 Account password.
- It will then prompt you to confirm its you by approving the sign in via the Microsoft Authenticator App.
Setup
You should now see the setup screen that looks like this:
During this stage, your laptop is successfully communicating with VMG Servers and is downloading everything it needs to get you online.
Depending on your Internet Connection, this process may take up to an hour.
Almost there
Your laptop will restart a few times after the configuration process is complete.
On the final restart, you will be greeted with the sign-in screen. It will be listed as “Other user”.
On this screen do the following:
- Enter your VMG 365 Account Email Address
- Then, enter your VMG 365 Account password.
- Once you have successfully logged in, you will be greeted with the Windows “Hi” message and a blue color changing background while your desktop is being configured by Windows.
- You may experience the “Setting up your device for work” screen again, but this time it says, “Account setup”. This can occur and is a normal part of the process.
Finishing Touches
Once you are signed in and the configuration is complete, you will see your desktop. Your laptop will still be working on items in the background.
You successfully set up your new VMG Laptop!
A few things to Note:
- Most of the required company applications will be downloaded and installed in the background.
- Another reboot will be required, Windows will prompt you to do this once it is ready to do so.
- Your VMG Email Account has been automatically added to Outlook. Once you open Outlook for the first time, it will confirm a few things before you see the Inbox.
- You will need to sign into BSM Specific Apps like Zoom and Adobe Acrobat.
- Please continue to use your BSM Laptop for daily functions until further instructions from VMG IT.
- VMG IT restricts the use of USB Drives. We cannot bypass this policy.
- VMG IT does not support: Home Internet, Personal Devices and Personal Printers.
The Following Apps will be installed to your laptop:
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
- TeamViewer Agent (For VMG IT To Remote Assist)
- Time Tracker Outlook Add-In
- Google Chrome
- Microsoft Office Enterprise + OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Teams
- Zoom + Zoom Outlook Add-In
- If you need an additional work app, please let us know and we will install it for you.
